Beat The Heat Car Show June 25, 2011

Saturday June 25th, The River City Diner (Bellegrade) hosted the "Beat the Heat Car Show"; not just a Cruise-in, it was Richmond's first nighttime car show. Top 20 awards with Best in Show and $150 prize. Proceeds benefited the American Red Cross. Weather was perfect, as a hot sweltering day morphed into a pleasant summer evening with the sun up till almost 9PM. Great food, oldies music and a huge turnout: 51 registered show cars with 22 more "just visiting". The River City Diner was the perfect place for the event, and more are scheduled there throughout the season. (see Calendar)...........Photos by Eddie Pearce.
