Polar Bear Run 25 January 17, 2026

The 25th Polar Bear Run begun at the same location as the first one - at the intersection of 10 and 156. We headed east on Route 10 to the Mariner's Museum in Newport News. We took the scenic route instead of an interstate or 4 lane highway. There was plenty to see on the way. At the museum we had a guide give a talk and then everyone walked through the museum looking at a lot of stuff for the next two hours. The only thing bad that happened was we got stopped at the James River draw bridge for about 10 minutes for a tug boat to pass. We'll do it again next year.
