7th Annual Breakthrough Car Show - 30th Anniversary of the Council

Historic Pamplin Park and the Car Club Council of Central Virginia, in honor of its 30th anniversary, have joined to bring car hobbyists the 6th Annual Breakthrough Car Show. Both organizations are 501(c)(3) nonprofits. All proceeds of this show will benefit Pamplin Park. We have worked hard to come up with a great event! The full-size reproduction cannon at the Hart Farm redan is an iron 12-pound Napoleon. The earthworks/redan are original. We will fire the cannon a few times during the event. We'll also have some Civil War soldiers performing an encampment/living history in the cabin area behind the barn and house. They will perform periodic musket demonstrations where they'll talk about the weapons and tactics, and then fire the muskets - both Civil War and Revolutionary War muskets. Judging classes for all makes, models and years - classes for every vehicle!
1st and 2nd place each class plus best in show - two awards per class with classes for Stock and Modified
Clay Drnec Award - Dinwiddie Chairman's Award
Goody bags and dash plaques for the first 150 registered - participant voting
Vendors - Food Trucks
Free spectator admission, free parking plus discounted park entry - and plenty of parking for trailers
Door prizes, music, silent auction - all proceeds go to Historic Pamplin Park
DJ will spin Oldies
Pre-registration $15 by May 1 - link to Registration Form
Day of show registration $20
Registration 8 AM - 11 AM, Balloting 11 AM - 2PM, Awards at 2:30 PM

Classes For All Vehicles

Stock = may have different stereo, wheels, tires, air cleaner & exhaust system.
Modified = more modifications than stock class
Classes may be deleted or additional classes added by the event organizers depending on the number and kind of entries. All judging decisions are final. Fire extinguishers are recommended.
